1. Plan your degree ahead of time!
It’s important to understand what you’re getting into, otherwise you may miss key knowledge from courses.
2. Research your courses before you take them!
Understand your workload. It’s a stressful situation taking 4 content heavy courses in a semester.
3. Remember to give yourself leisure time to destress!
Keeping on top of work is important, but uni isn’t all there is to life. Make sure you take time for yourself so you don’t get overwhelmed.
4. Keep track of your assesments. (Even if they’re not due next week)
Like your degree plan, an assesment plan is really useful. Not all assesments can be passed by completing them the night before!
5. It’s OK to ask for help!
Universities train and pay staff to attend to your needs, it’s ok to consult a course advisor, or otherwise seek assistance. In fact, it’s welcomed.
