In 2016, I was lucky enough to travel to Tokyo, Japan. It is an amazing city, rich with contrast. It’s a bustling hub of commerce and culture, at the same time as its the most idyllic urban centre I’ve ever been in. As the video below shows, just a quick walk through its city centre Shinjuku will bring you to one of the busiest pedestrian crossings in the world, and then take you to an ancient shrine nestled against this metropolitan chaos.

Not to mention, it was going to be the setting for this year’s (now next year’s!) Olympics!
