Spicy Chinese Street Food in Chengdu, Sichuan

Chengdu is located southwest of China. It is famous for street food which must have the Sichuan cuisine’s characteristics of ‘hot’ and ‘spicy’ as well. Sichuan cuisine is usually rich in color, fragrance and taste, and rarely requires any additional sauces. Visitors can eat authentic local dishes in the small street. Unlike Western demands quiet elegant dining atmosphere, the environment of these restaurants is bad but the taste is absolutely the best. During the trip to Chengdu, though, visitors would have a traditional cuisine broader, stranger and tastier than its facsimiles around the world.

Some data show that 70% of Chinese travelers were allured by Chengdu food. The top 4 foods most favored by them are Longchaoshou, Tofu Pudding, Dandan Noodle and Zhong's Dumpling. Sour, sweet, bitter, salty and a little spicy, you can find almost every flavor in Chengdu. We recommend a restaurant chain named Xiao Ming Tang(小名堂), where you have a chance to taste kinds of the city’s snacks. ⠀ **************************⠀ 📷: @katie_shiwenting⠀ **************************⠀ #Chengdu#chinatrip #chinagram#instago#instagood#photooftheday#travelbloggerlife#Sichuan #china#foodporn #food#foodphotography#foodie #foodlover#foodstagram#Chengdufood #spicyhotpot#yummyfood#foodiepic #foodblogger #yummy ⠀ **************************
