What are the undesirable contents
The development of the Internet is like a high-speed information train. In just a few years, it has deeply penetrated into all areas of society, profoundly affecting everyone’s production life. The corresponding situation is that, although in recent years the relevant departments have repeatedly rectified the Internet obscenity, pornography and vulgar information of special action.For example：in 2002, a convention was organized to prohibit the dissemination of undesirable information on Internet sites and to advocate “civilized Internet access” (Creemers, R. 2002).
However, the activities of spreading obscene, pornographic and vulgar information in the Internet are still very rampant. The spread of pornography and low-speed information has seriously corrupted the social atmosphere, polluted the social environment, and endangered the healthy growth of minors. Miscreants are using technology to distribute child pornography in a variety of ways. They use the cover of the Internet to exploit and abuse unsuspecting consumers (Mostert, F, 2019).
For adolescents, soft pornography is easy to arouse curiosity, minors are not mentally sound, lack of discernment of undesirable content, easy to imitate behavior; and many criminal acts are also hidden behind soft pornography, minors are difficult to distinguish.
The social media platforms, in the era of brutal growth, did everything to capture the audience, and all kinds of vulgar information, soft pornography, and instant performances to entice the audience were common. After a number of rectification, such content is apparently reduced, but in fact is spread in a more covert way, making supervision more difficult. Many people reflected strongly on this, and requested the relevant government departments to further carry out in-depth clean-up and rectification actions.

In response to such requests, government departments have been active and should have increased their special efforts. The government controls an increasing number of Internet platforms, whether through mobile devices, access points in libraries and schools, or in the workplace (Palfrey, J, 2010). Internet pornography and other undesirable information has become a global public nuisance, the fight against remediation is a systematic and complex dynamic task. This is not a few departments a time period can be fixed, need the support and participation of the whole society, need more responsible citizens think and explore. Only government departments and the public uphold a high sense of social responsibility, advocate social public responsibility, in order to return the network world a pure and clear.
However, data show that the number of existing websites reaches a huge 700,000, a large number of which are commercial websites. With the large number of these websites and the wide coverage area, it is far from enough to rely on the power of relevant departments alone. It also has to rely on the power of society and encourage the public to actively participate. In this sense, the fight against Internet pornography must vigorously advocate social public responsibility.
So the responsibility of the network media should not be ignored. The reason why pornography and other undesirable information is rampant is largely related to the weak sense of social responsibility and profit-oriented business philosophy of the online media itself.In this video it is mentioned that the media reports on inaccurate information which leads to irreversible consequences. The network media should ensure that positive and healthy network culture occupies the mainstream and rational and civilized speech occupies a strong position through reporting and guidance. Platforms need to consciously resist all undesirable information that undermines social stability and infringes on public interests, and resolutely remove obscenity, pornography and other harmful information, etc. Indeed, the network media, while growing bigger and stronger, should not only look at the eyeball effect, but also do a solid job of guiding public opinion by gathering the wisdom of the people, explaining their confusion, channeling their grievances, gathering their opinions and winning their hearts. The media should constantly improve the social responsibility, professional ethics and comprehensive business quality of its practitioners, and obey and serve the overall economic and social situation.

Finally, it is the public responsibility of citizens. Compared to limited regulatory authorities and resources, every Internet user is a supervisor of online pornography and vulgar information and has better access to first-hand information. People can perceive the health of the Internet in the first place. Therefore, it is both the right and the obligation of every Internet user to enhance the awareness of the civil society of Internet users, to consciously resist and actively report bad information. In developed countries, it has become a natural habit for citizens to act as gatekeepers for the Internet.
It is the combination of these three controls that can regulate the content of digital platforms.
How to eliminate the spread of bad content

At present, from the legal level, there is a lack of clear definition of soft pornography, and the legislation should be improved to promptly dispose of the illegal platforms and anchors. This can make these platforms and anchors unprofitable, or face high legal and economic risks. Continuously increasing the intensity of regulation and maintaining the pressure of supervision can curb such phenomena. For example, Australia has banned animations, cartoons and games with child abuse themes from appearing on screen (McLelland, M, 2012).
3.Strengthen people’s self-awareness
Finally, it is natural to strengthen people’s awareness and increase the efforts to promote the elimination of undesirable. This will allow people to have a common sense, common consciousness, self-discipline to reject these undesirable content. These contents should be eradicated and stopped, otherwise it will not only affect a person’s mind, but also affect a social environment, the network environment. For example, when it comes to cyberbullying, don’t be affected by those bad words.Those who hide under the internet are unsuspecting beings (Alarms, 2020). The internet today is rampant with all this bad content, both genuine, rubbish, and too much of it with one eye open and one eye closed. The key is still to be self-aware. And a penalty system can be added to the platform so that people who violate the rules can be punished in order to eliminate the root of the problem.

As young people living in the Internet era, especially minors, because the three views are not yet mature, once the influence and infringement of vulgar information on the Internet, the consequences are very serious, and can even embark on the road of illegal crime. Every fast-emerging new industry, there may be loopholes and delays in regulation. The phenomenon of soft pornography and vulgar information on the Internet requires the cooperation of many parties to manage, and jointly return the network to a clear space. The government, the platform, and the users should work together to stop the spread of bad information on the Internet. This will give the digital platform a clean environment.
