introduction
Due to the rapid development of the Internet age, information can flow out quickly, which is a double-edged sword. He can not only make people realize the convenience of science and technology by reading quickly, but also make some lawless elements spread bad information wantonly on the Internet. The biggest beneficiaries of the Internet age are young people, and teenagers occupy a large part of the young people. “Australian teenagers spend over two hours on the internet daily, mostly researching topics of interest and watching videos. On average, younger people in Australia spend two full days a month (48 hours) watching online videos.” (Ljubica,2022) Young people’s immature mind leads to some bad information such as yellow and online harassment. “More than 170,000 young people from 30 countries reported they had tolerated a bully on the internet. ”(Ljubica,2022)When violence appears, it will easily shake their position and affect their physical and mental health. I think the government and various social media websites should cooperate to maintain the stability of the network platform. Only by working together can we really control bad information.

what should people do?
“The free communication of ideas and opinions is one of the most precious of the rights of man. Every citizen may, accordingly, speak, write, and print with freedom, but shall be responsible for such abuses of this freedom as shall be defined by law.” (1789) As network users, users have a huge user base. Compared with face-to-face offline communication, the anonymity and freedom of social media allow users to speak freely. In this era of “everyone has a microphone”, accusations falling on the screen are easily piled up; Uncomfortably abusive language grows and spreads for no reason. As internet users, we should face cyber violence, and we should know clearly how to define “cyber violence“. Similar hate speech, false news, and terror speech, we should not follow others’ advice and spread them. Secondly, we should make it clear that the Internet is not a place of extra-legality, and we should also be responsible for the speech on the Internet. Anyone whose words and deeds on the Internet exceed the reasonable boundary of freedom of speech, and who is suspected of violating the law or committing a crime, will bear the corresponding consequences and pay the legal price. We can be both the publisher and the receiver of information. When the vulnerable groups are subjected to cyber violence, we should not be weak. We should use social media to speak for us. Because our communication should belong to the transaction model and interaction model, it’s normal communication to come and go. “A better understanding of how platform practices, policies, and affordances (in effect, how platforms govern) interact with the external political forces trying to shape those practices and policies is needed.” (Gorwa,2019) We should also actively cooperate with the management of the network platform. If we encounter people who spread bad information and affect the green and healthy network environment, we should organize this behavior in time and click to report it.

In October 2017, Arisha Miranno and others launched a campaign against the scandal of American gold medal producer Harvey Weinstein sexually assaulting several actresses, calling on all women who had been sexually assaulted to come forward and tell their painful experiences, and attach labels to social media posts to arouse social attention. About the effect of MEE TOO “The legal fight against harassment got a boost from Time’s Up, an organization dedicated to safe and equal workplaces for women, and the National Women’s Law Center.”
what should platforms do?
The greater the ability, the greater the responsibility. While the network platform provides information content services for profit, it also bears the main responsibility of information content management and has the obligation to create a cyberspace with abundant positive energy and high main melody. As the most popular and well-known communication medium in the new era, digital platform is the place to receive people’s share and manage them. These platforms are equipped with many technical contents, such as managing, reporting, and adjusting, for example, minors restrict viewing time and older people have larger fonts. As a network platform, it also must cooperate with and abide by the laws and regulations of the government, and it needs to fulfill the obligation of content audit. The network platform and users are highly bound as a community of interests, and at the same time, it is also a community of risks, which can share traffic dividends and sit in the dock together. When monitoring bad network information, the platform should dispose of it in time and undertake the obligation of information disclosure. Not only to fight violence, but also to have a system to prevent violence. It is a very important rule to formulate community conventions and define community rules. Now, all the problems are networked,(Boyd,2011) and the platform needs to show that they are diversified and should not have any discriminatory color at the same time. “The toxic techno cultures I discuss here demonstrate retrograde ideas of gender, sexual identity, sexuality, and race and push against issues of diversity, multiculturalism, and progressivism.” (Adrienne,2015) However, the diversification of some websites that can be used all over the world has brought troubles, “Some images may be offensive in one part of the world and acceptable in another, and even with a clear standard, it’s hard to screen millions of posts on a case- by- case basis every week.” and the arrival of this problem is a part of the network platform that deserves to continue to study.

what should government do?
The government, as the leader of a country and the manager of a region, should manage these platforms well. The government should effectively think about how to make laws and regulations for better planning to build better homes. It is impossible to effectively evade the need of government departments to formulate corresponding laws according to the national conditions of each country by relying entirely on the management of online platforms, but everything needs to be based on non-discrimination.
However, as far as I’m aware, there are still a lot of women in developing nations who are still in an unequal position, which also results in various national situations in each nation. It is challenging for social media platforms to avoid all of these issues. However, if efforts are made, I think it will be possible to put an end successfully and permanently to cyber violence and false information shortly. “In order to maintain an open, democratic system, it is important that government, business, and consumers work together to solve these problems. Governments should promote news literacy and strong professional journalism in their societies.” (Jessica,2017)
conclusion
The final harmful behaviors are bullying, harassment, violent material, hate, and porn. We should restrict ourselves and remind our relatives and friends. Violence on the internet is not only wrong, but it also does a lot of harm to other people. We must reject the idea that we can all live in peace and harmony.
